Choosing a page size
Fit to image shapes each PDF page to match its own photo, treating the photo as roughly 150 dots per inch, so a typical phone photo becomes a page close to its own aspect ratio rather than a standard paper size.
Letter and A4 instead give every page the same fixed size. Your photo is scaled down to fit inside the margin you pick and centered, so it is never stretched or cropped, even when photos in the same batch are different sizes.

Working with photos from different cameras
A phone camera usually shoots at a 4:3 or similar ratio, while many standalone cameras shoot 3:2, and a screenshot can be almost any shape. Fit to image carries each photo's own shape straight onto its page, so a batch from one device tends to produce pages that all look the same, while mixing a phone photo with a wide screenshot makes a document with pages of two different shapes.

Can I combine several JPGs into one PDF?
Yes. Drop them all in and each becomes a page, in the order you set. Switch Output to "One PDF per image" for separate files instead.
What page size should I pick?
Fit to image keeps the PDF the same shape as your photo. Letter or A4 is better when you plan to print it.
Will the photo lose quality?
The image is re-encoded as JPEG inside the PDF at the quality you choose. 90 looks the same as the original for most photos.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The PDF is built entirely in your browser, on your own device.
Does putting a JPG in a PDF lose more quality?
Your photo is re-encoded once at the quality you set, the same way any JPEG save works. It is not re-compressed again after that, so opening and re-saving the PDF later does not lose anything further.
Can I mix portrait and landscape photos in one PDF?
Yes. With Fit to image, each page simply matches its own photo's shape. With Letter or A4 and Orientation set to Auto, each page automatically turns landscape for wide photos and portrait for tall ones.
Is there a limit on how many photos I can combine?
No fixed limit. Very large batches depend on your device's own memory to hold every photo and the final PDF.

Yes. Click the x next to any photo in the list to drop it before you click Convert.
