What resolution means in pixels
The DPI you pick sets the pixel dimensions of the image, since a PDF page has a fixed physical size and DPI is pixels per inch of that size.

72 DPI matches a PDF's own internal point size, which is why it produces the smallest, roughest image. 300 DPI is four times sharper in each direction than 150 DPI, at four times the pixel count. Leave the pages field empty to export every page, or type page numbers or ranges, like 1-3, 5, to pull out just the pages you need instead of the whole document.
Choosing a JPEG quality
- 90 to 100 for pages with small text or fine detail you plan to zoom into.
- 70 to 85 for general sharing, screenshots and email attachments.
- 40 to 60 only for small previews or thumbnails, where file size matters more than sharpness.
When to choose PNG instead
JPG keeps files smaller, which suits photos and pages you plan to share or email. Switch to PDF to PNG when a page has sharp lines, small text or a diagram where compression artifacts would be more noticeable, since PNG keeps every pixel with no loss.
What to do with the images afterward
- Drop a single-page export into an image editor or slide deck without needing to reopen the original PDF.
- Attach individual pages to an email or a message when the recipient does not have a PDF reader handy.
- Use extracted pages as thumbnails or previews in a document library or a web page.

150 DPI looks sharp on screen and keeps files small. Use 300 DPI for printing or when a page has small text.
Can I convert only some pages?

What happens to a multi-page PDF?
Each page becomes its own JPG. Download them one at a time or grab a ZIP with all of them.
Do scanned PDFs work?
Yes. Scanned pages convert the same way as any other page, since the whole page is rendered as an image.
What does the quality slider do?
It sets the JPEG compression from 40 to 100. Higher keeps more detail and makes a larger file, lower shrinks the file at the cost of some sharpness.
Will exporting change the page's shape?
No. The image keeps the same proportions as the PDF page. Resolution only changes how many pixels make up that shape, not its width to height ratio.
Can I pick a custom DPI other than 72, 150 or 300?
No, those three are the only options. Choose 300 for the highest resolution this tool offers.
Is there a limit on how many pages I can export?
No fixed limit. Very long PDFs are limited only by your device's own memory.
