How to delete pages from a PDF

Two ways to mark pages
Click any thumbnail to mark it with an X for removal, and click it again to change your mind. For a long document, typing page numbers or ranges into the text field is often faster: it sets the exact pages marked for removal in one go, replacing any clicks you made before it.

- Typed ranges like 2, 4, 7-9: good when you already know the page numbers to remove.
- Select all and Select none clear or fill every mark at once.
What deleting a page does and does not change
Removing a page takes it out of the file entirely, including any text, images and links on it. Everything on the pages you keep stays exactly as it was, since deleting does not re-encode or resize anything.
Common reasons to delete pages
- Dropping a blank page a scanner added between documents.
- Removing a cover sheet or fax header before archiving a document.
- Cutting an outdated page out of a contract or manual before resending it.
- Taking a duplicate page out of a PDF that was scanned twice by mistake.

Can I remove more than one page at a time?
Yes. Click as many pages as you like, or type a list like 2, 4, 7-9.
Can I undo a page I marked by mistake?
Yes. Click it again to unmark it before you save, or use Select none to start over.
Will the remaining pages be renumbered?
Any page numbers printed on the pages themselves stay as they were. The PDF's own page order just closes the gap.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Very long PDFs depend on your device's memory.
Can I click pages and then also type a range?
Typing a range sets the exact list of marked pages and replaces any clicks you made, so pick one method rather than mixing them.
What happens if I mark every page for removal?
Saving is blocked with a reminder to keep at least one page, since a PDF cannot have zero pages.
Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?

Should I use this or Extract PDF pages?
