What is a good average time per target?
Casual players usually land between 400 and 600 milliseconds per target. Fast players with a lot of practice can get under 250 milliseconds.
Does this improve my aim in games?
Regular practice on quick target acquisition can carry over to shooter games, though sensitivity, monitor refresh rate and in-game aiming mechanics all matter too.
Why does a click outside the target count against my accuracy?
Accuracy compares clicks that land on a target to every click you made in the play area, so missed clicks lower the percentage the same way they would in a real game.
Can I use a touchscreen?
Yes. Tapping a target works the same as clicking with a mouse, though a mouse is more precise for this kind of test.
