Rotate one page or every page
Each thumbnail has its own rotate left and rotate right buttons, so you can fix one crooked page without touching the rest of the document.
Rotate all left and Rotate all right turn every page in the file by 90 degrees in one click, which is faster when an entire scan came in sideways.
How rotation stacks
Every click adds 90 degrees to whatever rotation the page already had coming in. A page that already opened sideways in the source file can often be straightened with a single click here, while rotating an already-upright page turns it sideways instead.
- One click: 90 degrees.
- Two clicks in the same direction: 180 degrees, upside down.
- Two left and two right cancel out, back to the original orientation.
Checking your work before saving
- Scroll through the whole thumbnail grid, not just the first few pages, since one sideways page is easy to miss in a long document.
- If a scan alternates between upright and sideways pages, rotate the sideways ones individually instead of using Rotate all.
- The preview thumbnails update immediately, so you can confirm a page is right side up before you click Save.

Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Use the rotate buttons under any page's thumbnail. Only that page changes.
Why do my scanned pages come out sideways?
Scanners and phone cameras save pages in the orientation they were fed or held, not always upright. Rotating here fixes it without rescanning.
Does rotating affect quality?
No. The page content is unchanged, only its orientation is updated.
Is 180 degrees possible?
Yes. Rotate the same page twice, or use Rotate all twice, to turn a page fully upside down or right way up again.
Can I rotate different pages in different directions?
Yes. Every page's rotate buttons work on their own, so a mixed-up scan can have some pages turned left and others turned right in the same pass.
My PDF page was already rotated in the source file. What happens?
Your rotation is added to whatever the page already had. If a page was already saved sideways, one 90 degree turn here can straighten it back out.
My whole scan came out sideways. Is there a faster fix than page by page?
Yes. Use Rotate all left or Rotate all right once to turn every page in the file the same way in a single click.
Do I need Adobe Acrobat or another PDF app?
